[SWFObject] addVariable

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but is it possible to
pass in a variable with an '&' character in the variable name?

 

Eg..

 

addVariable('name','Starsky & Hutch');

 

The variables seem to be cutting off at the &. I tried \& but it has
same result.
