[SWFObject] Preloader Problem

hmm cant say i've noticed this, ive used preloaders with swfobject and flash8 without any delay... Could there possibly be a component or such exported in the first frame thats delaying the preloader?

  I have used swfobject sucessfully on several web pages but have discovered that if I use it on a flash page with a preloader it delays the preloader starting for a few seconds - making it pointless. Has anyone else found this and is there a cure?
