[SWFObject] fp9 bug in IE with multiple swffiles+externalinterface (out of memory)

I’m going to update right now the SWFObject.js in my site and see what
happens.

As you say, it’s not a big issue, but
what is going on with flash player
9? Things where perfect just 2 months ago
!

Anyway, I think we can only be happy for your solution and wait for a flash
9 patch
. ;)

i did notice a small jump of the bottom movie when i was reloading the
page... i'm not sure what that is, and i really have no idea to go about
fixing it.

since it only happens when you navigate away from the page (right?) it's not
really too big of an issue...

if it was predictable, you could possible use some javascript to fix it, but
i think it would be way more trouble than it was worth...

Yeah!!

The page don’t get freezed, and no error messages,
. but: Have you noticed
the displacement of the movies when refreshing /linking?

Movie2 overlaps movie1, or something similar. It’s just for 1 second, but
that’s the displacement issue I told you before

Can you see it or is just me?

THANK YOU very much Geoff for the fixing.

good news :)

ok, i just realized i put the wrong swfobject_source.js into svn, but i just
updated it a few seconds ago, so if you are looking at that, get the newest
version first (rev. 24)

if anyone else has time to test this, it would be great. I'm sending an
e-mail off to adobe now with all the info in it, so hopefully they will get
this patched up super quick before too many more people download fp9.

I would hardly say that! :)

Works great here, now (IE 7 beta 2 & 3).

Thanks!

also we had fp8 on our test system, which doesn't have the problem,
so i thought it was all set.

we have now fixed it for sure (and tested with fp9!) and it looks
pretty good.

clear your caches and hit that page again and let me know how it looks:
