[SWFObject] 2 Flash Objects

The strange behaviour reported by Tim is an interesting one and I have just
encountered a similar thing myself on Monday. Initially, I had thought it
was due to SWFObject which I had just added throughout the site, so I
removed it on the homepage and used Dreamweaver 8's stock-standard method
of adding a flash movie and it still occurred. I have no recollection of it
behaving in this manner prior to adding the SWFObject approach over the
weekend. Granted the site is still in development, but I am sure I would
have noticed this happening before now.
At http://tve.intellinet.com.au is the home page which has two swf files on
it. One for the site top nav and the other for a slideshow. Both of these
use the DW8 insert Flash feature. Inside the site I have used SWFobject on
all the navigation swfs at the top of the page.
I am using player 9 on IE6/Win2K Pro and IE7/XP Pro also FF1.5/XP Pro
Anyone else having problems with Flash Nav's ?

Just curious, what is the NOF attribute used for in the table tags? I
googled it and couldn't find a definitive answer, some theories that it is
from net fusion, word, frontpage, or something of that sort. Is it possible
that flash just isn't reading this accurately?

Aran and Tim,
I agree, I looked over the html, and it looks like there are style tags that
IE supports, but FF ignores. For example, the page is aligned left in FF,
but centered in IE. Thus I think IE is placing the menu in the wrong place,
then placing it correctly after the top banner is placed.
Does the CSS set styles for the SWF DIV's? If so what?
I think it can be fixed easily, if you can just find out where the conflict
is. but I am sure it is in the CSS/Style tags somewhere.
Anyway, I am really interested in this because I have had similar problems
before, which I fixed.. But (embarrassing) I don't really know how I fixed
it...

Tim.
I see what you mean. It doesn't happen for me on Firefox, but does happen on
IE6.
I personally have never run into this, but it looks to be the order in which
the page in being rendered is causing the positioning layout to change as
elements are drawn to the screen.
Anyone else have something useful to add?
Aran

I have 2 flash objects on a page and in IE 6 or 7, the left nav flash object
actually will jump up (stretch) on the page when clicked to go to a new
page.
Any ideas??
