[SWFObject] Specifying a Flash Player Version

you only need the .as file when you publish your swf from the Flash  
IDE. it usually goes in the same folder as your .fla file.

once you have the swf, you don't need the .as file any more, and it  
shouldn't go on the server.

look at the example .fla setup to see how it all works.
