The Flash menu buttons simply read:

on (release) {
getURL("contact.html");
}

it's just a simple call to another page in the website.

  thanks - we tried swapping the 2 movies; same duplication result.

  We just tried using 2 different SWFs ; same duplication result.

  We think the issue is that SwfObject isn't able to work with I.E. 7.  Is that possible?  We have a site nearly ready to go and don't 
  know whether to abandon use of SwfObject or not, with that site.   Pls. advise?
