Hey Aran.
Thanks for the serious help.
At first I felt like you lifted a 2 ton block off of my back.
But when I went to drop it on the server with the "js" file and the
even the new page you wrote up - it didn't work..
The thing that bums me out the most is, I did exactly what you did
the first time I tried it myself and had the same results.
My javascript and plug ins are both enabled in Safari and Firefox.
eeesh...
still need some help - or a miracle.

To prove that the first frame code is the only issue, try commenting it out, or removing it once, and republish to see if the video plays. Then you know that the problem is that first frame code. If it doesn't play, then we need to look at the flv playback component or the code used to progressively stream the video.
If you want, send me a copy of the container fla offlist and I'll fix the first frame for you.

having issues with detect/redirect javascript coding that we could use some help

Redirect coding is issue. If person doesn't have flash plugin its suppossed to
redirect to non-flash page. In this case its index-noflash.php
