[SWFObject] SWF Object in Wordpress

I have used SWF Object to embed some flash in a wordpress installation. I
added it to the header file. The header swf works absolutely fine. The
trouble I am having is adding it to a post. It seems to only show the
alternate content which suggests to me that it is not reading the
swfobject.js file. Has anyone else got a solution for me?
