Hi Maak

I experienced the same issue when I moved from FLASHobject to SWFObject. It
was quickluy solved by including a parameter as in the following example

so.addParam("wmode", "transparent");

Subject: [SWFObject] Getting Html to sit over flash inserted with
SwfObjectvs FlashObject

Sometimes html or xhtml needs to sit over flash like a javascript drop or
fly out menu or a standard drop/jump menu. Or you may want to launch
something into a div that is positioned over other content including flash.

I can do this if i use FLASHobject but not SWFobject. What changed in
swfobject so this is not possible?????

Of course this may have something to to do with doctype though that has
remained constant and it's working well for me.
DocType I have used is

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "
<http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd>
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns=" <http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml> http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

I hope someone can help with this

Cheers
