[SWFObject] SWFObject and 'Active Content Update'

I have been experiencing something strange regarding the 'Active Content
Update' issue.

Using the SWFObject test page
(http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/swfobject.html), the first time I
go there, all is good. If I clear the cache and "Refresh" a few times
(sometimes it takes a dozen iterations or so), I eventually get the
"Click to activate and use this control" tooltip (requiring you to click
on the Flash control).

I am only able to make it happen on one of my office PCs. Has anyone
else experienced this? I was just kinda wondering how prevalent this
issue is.

Flash Version: 8.0.24
IE Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
Windows XP Pro: All updates applied as of today

Also, how long does it take to join the list? I signed up an hour ago
