[SWFObject] Error in getting SWF Working Consistently

linux only supports flash player 7 at the moment. if you're trying to 
view a flash 8 movie in linux it will not run. this sounds like what you 
are experiencing.

adobe is supposed to be releasing a version 9 player for linux soon.
