[SWFObject] bypass detection

well the problem is that the object/embed tags don't have the  
download information for the browsers to get the latest versions of  
the plugin.

I've always preferred to place custom instructions there with a link  
to adobe.com, as many people don't like installing things from the  
activex window because of all the spyware/malware out there these days.

firefox does have a pretty slick installer, though.

if you wanted to trigger the installer, you could just place a small  
1x1 flash movie on your page somewhere.
