re: the expressinstall:

your code isn't set up to use it - you need to add an extra 'true'  
after the background color:

var fo = new FlashObject("jd_main.swf", "fotester", "100%", "100%",  
"8", "#FFFFFF", true);

and make sure you have the expressinstall code inside your fla.

you should test it once you have it set up. grab the flash player  
uninstaller from the adobe site and then install an older version  
like 7 or 6.0.65 and try it out.
