Steve,
As an experiment I tried the following code on your generator and it
crashed.  Any ideas?

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="800"
height="600"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.ca
b">
<param name="movie" value="menu.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#663333" />
<embed src="menu.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#663333" width="800"
height="600" name="menu" align="middle" play="true" loop="false"
quality="high" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
</object>

Regards,
Paul

Ya - I made it because I had 20+ blocks of old code to convert - I suppose I
could add a little functionality tonight (like the flashvars). Like you
said - it's really quite easy.

> Personally, I'd like to see some sort of "advanced" config area, where you
could set things like the name of the div you wanted to write into, or a
whole bunch of inputs, check boxes / radio's for setting params like wmode,
color, flash version  etc.

My intent was to make a simple converter for people that don't really "get
it" - I recommend SWFObject all the time on experts-exchange and the n00bs
out there never seem to get it working :P, but I suppose it would also be
nice to have a SWFObject Graphical User Interface/Generator so you don't
always have to go back to the documentation. Hmmm. Perhaps I'll grab a
domain for the project and throw it out there. I just released some other
software (www.tera-wurfl.com <http://www.tera-wurfl.com/> ) and I'm not sure
that I'll have a lot of time for this project, but I'll think about it.

Thanks,

Steve
